Our jaws were basically on the floor, over how gorgeous all these girls looked and how great they were in front of the camera, especially since most of them aren’t professional models!

Total girl crush and maybe a little bit of envy too hahah!

We’ll be announcing the winner next week but because some of these girls were so ah-ma-zing, you may see a few familiar faces in some of our photo shoots

What we especially loved was that the girls were all really fun and super nice which is what Show Pony is all about!

There was a lot of dancing around to ‘Thrift Shop’ by Macklemore (still obsessed !), feasting on piles of candy (models DO eat), and chatting/ gossiping away!

It was basically like doing a photo shoot with 9 of your girl friends, and you’ll see that awesome vibe in the photos

The girls were styled with lots of colour, in our signature Ever After and Mesmerised dresses, and bright, printed playsuits, and at the end of the shoot, each lucky girl got to take away their fave piece from the collection- it was definitely a winning day for these girls haha!!

We know you all had your faves during the entry stages, but maybe another contestant has now shown some spark and made you think they’re worthy of winning? Here’s a little bit more about these amazing girlies

Avenelle- A baby-faced sweetheart who comes from Queensland, she flew all the way in for our photoshoot!

Amy- Is a Eurasian stunner who has done a bit of modelling in the past and is currently studying at UTS.

Audrey- Our favourite Frenchie! She hails from a city nearby Paris but is now based in Sydney as a model. Ooh la la!

Brittany- With a face like that we expect to see her on the catwalks of Milan in a few years! This caring models long term goal would be to work in school camps overseas.

Kate- The sweetest girl ever, she’s the kind of girl everyone wants as a bestie! Kate has a Norweigian background and has just recently come back from Europe.

Georgia- A smart cookie who is fluent in English, Greek and Japanese, and also currently studying a business degree at UTS. She loves fashion and travelling and is a bubble of fun!

Maddy- Is a go-getter, about to begin studying a BA of Law combined Psychology and currently lives on the South Coast in gorgeous Ulladulla- lucky girl!

Melanie- This stunning girl was full of sunshine! Mel is a make up artist who has previously done a bit of modelling and is also an avid race goer!

Vanessa- A sultry hottie who works in the beauty industry, we were amazed at her flawless skin- she definitely walks the walk with her job

The Next Face Of Show Pony will be announced next week – can you guess who it’ll be?

We had our photoshoot with the 9 winners of our Face of Show Pony competition yesterday! And WOW, we're all super impressed with the calibre of girls this year and just sweet and lovely everyone was!

So this is our 3rd year now running this program, and I love how we're getting more professional and having more fun year to year!

HOLA!!

It's the end of an era! We closed our Sydney City Westfield store this week, marking the last of our bricks-and-mortar presence. But fear not, this only means we can channel more of our time and energy into MUCHAS ONLINE AWESOMENESS!

So at one point, our global domination was heading towards the franchise / chain store direction, with three stores opened within the one year in Sydney's Broadway, Bondi Junction Westfield and City Westfield.

One of my favourite memories of my childhood is my birthday parties. Especially all the yummy food my mum would prepare. My favourite would have to be these jelly slices. They were everyone’s favourite. So when my housemates and I decided to have a totes amazeballs house party we thought we would give this a go. There so easy to make!! You should have a go (and add some alcohol) for your next party or just for fun.

Prep your oranges

1. Cut large or jumbo oranges in half.
2. Core out the actual orange (save for fresh OJ!). Now you have halved orange shells.

Prepare Jelly

1. Boil water for jelly
2. Add 1 or 2 cups (depending on the box size of your Jelly) of boiling water to jelly in a bowl
3. (optional) Add 1 or 2 cups (depending on the box size of your Jelly) of COLD liquor (vodka, tequila, etc.)
4. Stir until dissolved

Prepare shots

1. Pour your mixture into your orange peel cups.
2. Refrigerate for at least three hours or more until solid. (You may want to put the orange halves in small bowls so they don’t fall over in your refrigerator).
3. Once solid, turn the orange half upside down (rind facing up) on a cutting board and slice.
4. Each orange half shell can yield four Jelly shots
5. Serve and enjoy!

We did a little street style shoot which featured a beautiful pink rose floral crown in some of the shots  and while it’s best matched with a romantic look, there are so many styles that we’re sure you can find one for any style you wear!

We love an off the shoulder look for Summer!

Some of our fave shots of celebrities rocking floral crowns are Pixie Lott with an amazing over-sized yellow rose headband, and Alexa Chug with a subtle mixed flower headband.

To get a stunning floral headband, we suggest heading to Kisforkani’s etsy online store. She does amazing handmade pieces that are kind of like little works of art! Our fave? The oversized deep red rose  floral crown- AH-MAZING!
