Behind the scenes of our latest photo shoot!

We had a another fun day a few weeks ago, with models Aley and Kaitlin in the studio shooting our latest arrivals. We had so much fun shooting these hot NYE dresses all around and we also shot some of our Show Pony basics range (think super cute bralets).

Show Pony founder Jane Lu was on hand to sort out a tricky situation with our latest colour of the Bow Tie dress She just recently won an entrepreneurial award so everyone at Show Pony HQ was incredibly proud!

Kaitlin gets a touch up to her outfit. She rocks The Beat playsuit in red and the Glitz and Glam belt in black. We LOVE this playsuit and everyone in our office has been fighting to get hold of this for their wardrobe.

We spent the day with our intern Bibi, and had her work her inner model on the streets of Sydney with some of our favourite looks for the coming season.

We are loving strong colours and statement necklaces right now paired with some ankle boots (to brave the colder weather lately!) and even though it was shot during the day, we couldn’t resist putting her in a pair of our fave new sequin shorts. Sure, Summer is usually associated with a casual approach to fashion but sparkle on we say! Sunny days don’t give you an excuse to wear denim shorts every day!

Show Pony Trend Watch #2: Peplum

The peplum trend is huge favourite this season as we see celebrities strutting down red carpets in bright peplum dresses and skirts. This style is highly coveted because of its amazing ability to create an hourglass figure (and if you already have one, it accentuates your waist!)
