Well after too much white wine sangria at dinner led to somehow ending up in a backpackers bar at the cross… I was so scared of the day ahead. With bags under my voice and having lost my voice from yelling “OMG guys it’s my song!” too many times, I wasn’t too sure about an MX photoshoot and a radio interview yesterday, but it actually all worked out well.
Anyway, took some happy snaps so here you go!
So here’s all the garments prepared for the photoshoot – they did say they want a lot of colour!!
Getting hair and make up by the Napolean team – they were so professional and lovely!! So very impressed!!
And here’s some of the photos taken with the gorgeous models and the amazing organisers, Yasmin and Gian, for the up-and-coming Sticks and Stones event at Polo Lounge.
(Btw – email info@showponyfashion.com for tickets!)
Okay after rushing back to the office to answer some of your emails and having the most frustrating conversation with the bank, I went to the coolest radio station ever.
Eagle Wave Radio literally takes place inside a cafe – Vivo Cafe (388 George St)!! Through the glass window you see the cafegoers enjoying their catch ups to the backdrop of the hustle and bustle of the CBD – it’s pretty sick! Hosted by the lovely Angela Vithoulkas (Vivo Cafe) and Mat Beeche (Shoe String Startup Magazine) – they had such charisma and great banter, it didn’t take too long for me too get into the groove of it and to get too comfortable and swear on live radio! hahaha oh well
And the “startup” community activities kicked on to Blue Chilli Startup Incubator’s launch – maybe I was enticed initially by talks of cocktails and canapes, but it was a pretty great networking event and the incubator space itself would definitely be an awesome place for anyone to kick off their business.
Anyway, so that was my day, ended with dinner at Eastbank at Circular Quay and streaming the latest Gossip Girl. Can’t complain, gotta say I do love my job!
